                            NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

                 WEST  RUTLAND PLANNING COMMISSION (PC)

On WEDNESDAY, April 15, 2026, starting at 6:00 pm, in Town  Offices at 35 Marble St. W. Rutland Village; the Planning Commission will convene a Public Hearing to receive Public Questions and Comments on updating the current Town Flood Hazard Regulations to include River Corridor development, and other language required to improve the Town’s FEMA ratings, so to receive the maximum VT and Federal assistance following a flood or related natural disaster.  Copies of the proposed regulations are displayed in Town Office, US Post Office & Zoning page of the Town website.

          The Proposed Flood Hazard Area Regulations may be reviewed on the Zoning Page of the Town website www.WestRutlandVT.org , or in Town Office during regular Office hours.

            Hearing  participation may be In-person or Remote via Zoom phone & P.C. video.  The Application and log-on instructions will be posted in Town & Post Offices and at www.WestRutlandVT.org.

        Interested Parties are to be present or logged in and prepared to offer Testimony, or have submitted written Testimony, by 6:15 pm on day of the Hearing; or they may forfeit their right to appeal any decision of the Planning Commission in VT Environmental Court.
